Recently did the master class in smoking and bbq with Ross Walker (check their website) and all the meat came from the incredible butcher. How the session was run; how delicious the food was and the genuine people who ran it all on the day I will be using this place as my butcher from now on. They were incredible and to this day I’m still dreaming of all the food we learnt how to cook and eat.

Amazing quality beef at seriously good pricing. Service was great with the butcher who cut my steaks to order, making sure I knew what I was going to do and gently offering some suggestions to inhance my enjoyment of eating the Wagyu. Awesome experience and I will happily return to this butcher despite the 1.5 hour round trip from where I live.

Best scotch fillet steak I’ve ever tasted. Incredibly flavoursome, tender and better than any steak I’ve had anywhere. Friendly service, nothing was too much trouble.

We always buy our brisket from the meat inn place. We were unfortunate to get an off bit of meat (we understand that it happens, not the stores fault). We didn’t realise until 9pm at night as we were marinating it to sit over night. We contacted the store and were lucky enough to get a response within 1 minute. The lovely owners organised a new bit of meat for us (at 9pm at night mind you) couldn’t recommend you guys more. We are very grateful that you responded when you did. Crisis averted. Thanks guys!

I recently did the Low & Slow BBQ Masterclass. Ross & the team were fantastic. Ross certainly knew exactly what he was talking about and explained everything in terms that anyone could understand. I highly recommend this masterclass for anyone that owns or is looking to own a smoker/webber/etc!

Great class. Good food, a few beers with everyone and did I say a great class. Cost me a fortune as I brought a GMG pellet smoker, pizza oven insert and enough rubs to do a whole beast plus a pig. And everyone else enjoyed the day.

Great butchers. Travelled a fair way to try this place out as there aren’t many serious bbq butchers in Melbourne. I was served by Jarrod who was extremely helpful. I ended up getting some Cape Grim short ribs. They were amazing delicious. Will definitely be back here to try out their wagyu.

First time visiting this morning to grab a brisket and a pork ribs. Place was really good, wide variety of meats, heaps of barbecue stuffs. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Want to thank the long haired staff (wasn’t able to get his name) for the helping me choose the meats I need. Will be coming back soon, and recommending the place to my friends.
